Barahi Hydropower Promoter Announces Intention to Sell 24,780 Shares

Barahi Hydropower Public Limited (BHPL) has disclosed that one of its promoter shareholders has expressed an intention to sell shares held in the company within the next three months. The company disclosed in accordance with a directive issued by the Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON) on Bhadra 9, 2083, which requires a promoter shareholder intending to sell 5% or more of their shareholding to inform the concerned company at least 15 days before the proposed sale. According to the company, an application expressing an intention to sell shares within the next three months was received on Ashwin 5, 2083 from promoter shareholder Laxmi Narayan Parajuli. Parajuli currently holds 24,780 shares of Barahi Hydropower Public Limited. The company has disclosed the information to comply with the regulatory requirement regarding the sale of shares by promoter or major shareholders. The disclosure follows SEBON's directive issued, which requires shareholders holding 5% or more of the company's shares to provide advance information before selling their holdings. The company has clarified that the disclosure represents the shareholder's intention to sell shares within the next three months and does not itself confirm that the shares have already been sold.
