Nepal Telecom Calls Applications for Stock Brokerage Services

Nepal Telecom (Nepal Doorsanchar Company Limited) has invited eligible stock brokerage firms to apply for listing to provide share trading services for the fiscal year 2083/84. Interested and qualified companies are requested to submit their proposal along with their company profile within 15 days of the notice publication date (published on Bhadra 8, 2083 BS) at the company's central office in Bhadrakali Plaza, Kathmandu. Proposal forms can be obtained free of cost from the company. To be eligible, applicants must be registered under prevailing laws, licensed and renewed by the Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON), and hold a Permanent Account Number (PAN). Applicants must meet SEBON's minimum paid-up capital requirements, maintain a positive net working capital for FY 2081/82, and submit tax clearance certificates for the same period.

Additionally, firms must have at least two years of general brokerage experience, including at least one year of experience serving a fully or partially government-owned entity or institution. They must also have handled an average annual trading turnover exceeding NPR 10 billion over the past two fiscal years (FY 2080/81 and FY 2081/82) and must not be legally disqualified from conducting business.
