NEPSE Witnessed a Loss of 36.25 Points; All Sector Close at Red

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) recorded a double-digit loss, losing 36.25 points (1.36%) to close at 2,618.03. This follows a 7.06 -point gain in the previous trading session.   The benchmark index opened at 2,670.28 and fluctuated between an intraday high of 2,671.04 and a low of 2,613.13 before settling at the close. Total turnover for the day amounted to Rs. 6.35 Arba, with 21,622,728 shares traded across 352 companies through 57,947 transactions. The total market capitalization stood at Rs. 45.03 Kharba, with a float market capitalization of Rs. 15.25 Kharba.   SHIVAM CEMENTS LTD (SHIVM) topped the turnover chart, recording transactions worth Rs. 38.34 crores. The company’s stock closed at Rs. 687.00 .   Dhaulagiri Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (DLBS) led the gainer's list with a 15.00% gain. The stock closed at Rs. 1,341.90.

Meanwhile, First Micro Finance Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (FMDBL) recorded the Highest fall, falling by 8.54%. The last traded price of the company was Rs. 750.00 .      Among sectors, the Life Insurance recorded the highest loss, losing by 2.04%, while Mutual fund recorded the least loss, down 0.15%.
