Share Investors Association Urges Protection for Assets After Broker No. 93 Suspension
The Share Investors Association (Laganikarta Sangh) has strongly objected to NEPSE’s three day suspension of Beni Securities (Broker No. 93) over delayed trade settlements. Criticizing the decision as hasty, the association warned that thousands of investors are now affected with no clear plan to protect their funds and shares. The association demanded that market authorities immediately restore trading for affected clients through alternative arrangements and limit punishments strictly to the responsible broker. They also urged NEPSE and the CDSC to publicly clarify the safety of client assets and introduce long term reforms, including separate client accounts and faster broker-transfer processes. Know more
