Former Nepali Congress President and former Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba has returned to Nepal after undergoing medical treatment in Singapore. Deuba arrived at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu at around 12:30 p.m. on Thursday. He had been in Singapore for medical treatment after sustaining serious injuries during the Gen Z-led protest on Bhadra 24. Deuba had travelled to Singapore on the night of Kartik 10, accompanied by his wife, Arzu Rana Deuba, for further medical treatment. Several leaders from the Nepali Congress establishment-opposition faction reached Tribhuvan International Airport to welcome Deuba upon his return. Deuba’s return comes after several weeks of medical treatment abroad following the injuries sustained during the protests.
